Our Operators
Captain Jesse Sadler
As a third generation fisherman out of Tofino. Jesse was raised to be on the water. From as young as 8 years old. You would find him accompanying either his grandfather, uncle or Father. As they set off in their commercial fishing vessel’s. Jesse would spend days and even weeks at sea. From Oregon all the way up to Haida Gwaii. While he enjoyed the experiences that commercial fishing offered. Jesse’s true passion is sport fishing. Now a days, Jesse uses his knowledge he acquired from commercial fishing. As he is a true master at locating and finding the right pattern. To him, finding that perfect set up to entice a bite. Is not only thrilling but something he loves to share with his guests. That excitement from hearing the reel peeling out line. To a guest bringing in their catch. Is a feeling Jesse thinks everyone should experience. As a true fisherman Jesse is always looking forward to spending time on the water. As he enjoys sharing the breathtaking views and spreading the joy that fishing offers.

Captain Jonathan Skucas
Jon was born in Kamloops and raised in Ucluelet on the beautiful west coast of Vancouver island. Jon’s love of the sea and fishing started at a young age. Often you would find him on the beach. Flipping over rocks looking for crabs and other sea life. Along with tying up rafts, logs and other things to get him on the water with his fishing rod in hand. Even in a nasty storm if Jon saw a fish jump. You would find him casting for hours waiting for that one magical bite. Naturally as Jon got older you would find him with friends and family on the water. Hunting for the next honey hole and deep sea adventure! Today the water and fishing is still a true passion of Jon’s. One that he loves to share with everyone he meets. As much as Jon loves to catch the big one like anyone else. Jon’s true passion comes from the adventure and experience as a whole. That fishing and the sea always seem to offer.
